With the Portugese newspaper Sol reporting that 'Gerry McCann... had noticed that the door to the children's room was more open than before and that there was more light than normal in the apartment... he assumed that Madeleine had moved into her parents' room because the twins' crying disturbed her, but that he didn't check' its possible that the 'missing hour' is in fact a 'missing few hours'. Knowing that the McCanns went out at 7.30pm is it possible that no one actually saw Madeleine after that ?

Just suppose the parents had given meds to the kids to keep them sleeping (Maddy was routinely medicated to prevent her from sleepwalking), and Madeleine was accidentally given an overdose. Perhaps others checking on the children had only listened at the door to see if there was all bedlam going on inside and if not, left.
If Gerry went inside and discovered her body at 9 p.m., knowing there would be an autopsy and drugs would be found, leading to charges of neglect and worse - probably having their other kids taken away and their careers ruined, he felt it necessary to get rid of her body.
Hope intensely that this is wrong - just can't see Gerry doing that, and the timeline might not fit, nor can I imagine getting seven friends to keep this secret forever (if they indeed knew), and possibly he never told Kate, which would explain her tormented look, but wonder at this possibility.
Still hope she was abducted and the police will find her alive and as well as possible, and reunite her with her family. The hell they've gone through is more than any human should have to deal with.

Yes, it all very intriguing, and as the parents refuse to accept that they made a fault is possibly not helping, as for the chance that Mayy is being looked after someone (properly), then they migth not return her as they migth believe there could do a betetr job and would never leave her. That or the parents are going to be implemented if she has been killed, all logical scenories, and yet I hope she is still alive somewhere, perfectly safe and happy, or as happy as she can be. One curious thing is why the twins didn't wake up or infact, if it was for pornography / organs etc, then why didn't they take the other little girl or maybe the little boy, they would have been a lot easier to carry away and keep quiet, which is another thing, how did they make Maddy be quiet if she was taken, she might have been intelligent but surely she would have kicked up a fuss or something.

this gets more shocking by the day. it doesnt surprise me to be honest, the blase with which the mccanns have treated the whole 'leaving their children on their own', informs me that he wouldnt think twice about just peering in, rather than checking thoroughly on his own children's welfare. If this is true, and he presumes the reason that madeline had to get up and move rooms is because the twins were crying, that makes it even worse, if thats possible.

i personally think that Gerry McCann is hiding something, (other than poor maddies body)
From day one he has not looked liked a man who's world has just fallen apart.

As for Kate well i think she is innocent in the fact that she did not have anything to do with her child disappearing other than leaving her alone in a apartment with no supervision,

I would not dream of leaving my 11 year old or younger children home alone while i went to the pub for a drink & meal.

And im afraid to say until Gerry cracks under the strain of everything no one will ever know the truth.

at the end of the day, whether they checked them or not, they shouldn't have left their children alone, and especially not in a strange country. And all the people who say "i leave my kids alone - there's no problem in doing that" should have their kids taken off them. That's not good parenting.

But yes, i heard about this missing hour thing. It is possible that they just stuck their heads round the door, not properly looking. She could have been gone long before they actually bothered to notice.

If these reports are true it really is outstanding to think a PARENT could be happy that their child is safe without actually SEEING them.

When I check on my son in his room there is the odd occasion he has rolled out of bed and is sleeping elsewjere in his room. Between noticing his empty bed and finding him sleeping on a teddy in the corner it is literally seconds but my heart stops. I know there is no where else he could be, the stair gate is locked, we're sitting underneath his room so there is really no way he could be anywhere other than his room but that panic in the seconds between finding him is hell!

Now, giving that I don't class myself as 'hysterical' or overprotective, how could this man go into a strange room, see his daughter isn't in her bed and ASSUME she is elsewhere without checking?

honest question, yet you spoilt it by utilising giving your solutions to each and each question. it is especially lots a similar reason as why human beings save asking repetitive McCann questions. BTW As an exciting question for you, if I mentioned to you you will have a £1million funds for a suited answer or have your life taken away if it grew to become into incorrect which of the solutions above might you %.? LOL

Another inconsistency in there story, In the Daily Mail yesterday (on line) Gerry said that he checked on Maddie at 9.05pm and she was there asleep in her bed and when Kate checked 10.00pm Maddie wasn't there. She was not seen at all since 7.30pm. They didn't check on their children once that night and they prove that by not getting stories straight and the stories changing all the time. Guilty as hell i say

The McCanns have only told us what they want us to believe. There is so much mystery to this raw painful situation. The story keeps changing so much. There is more to all this then meets the eye.

thanks for the link, it was the one of most factual, unbiased links i have read.

it would seem Gerry didn't check, just went to the door and assumed Madeleine had gone to the twins bed.

then had a good old chin wag with his new buddie
