If any of you saw the story last Wednesday (Aug 8, 2007) about the man who smuggled a monkey onto an airplane under his hat, I have a question for you. Has his name been released? B/c I answered a question that said (and I quote exactly)
"What do i need to do if I want to transport an animal, such as a monkey, over the mexican border?". I freaked when I saw this! It was posted 3 days before that story ran and now I am beging to think that I answered that guys question! Weird. If anyone has any idea as to that guys name or country of origin (which could lead to a name) please tell me. Thanks.

I answered his question with...
"If you're serious there are strict guidelines for that and it is probably illegal."

If you haven't heard of this here...

I think the other guy summed it up well... WHOA it right! That's really weird. The fact that this guy sunk a monkey onto the plan and was able to by pass security(that's how he was able to get the monkey on) it so scary. The last time I flew I was with my daughter who was at the time 10months old, I was given orders via phone to have sealed bottled water, it was a 6hr flight (NY to Vegas) and I bought enough for the ride, they made me throw them all out and by new ones once I crossed the gate. Major inconvenience and a waste of money but I sucked it up, so how the heck is some able to get threw security and get a monkey onto the plane. From what I herd he is not an American, or at least the flight didn't leave from America. Uhh if you gave him directions how to skip security then I would take the proof the question to officials, other wise I wouldn't think much of it.

confident. he's an opportunist. If Hillary have been the nominee, the Dems might've had this situation packed in tight. yet, Obama comes out of nowhere thinking that the Dems will particularly win this election. Now, the Dem's opportunities of triumphing the final elections are particularly close to to 50/50 - regardless of what the polls say. Dems are divided and GOP is united. Oh nicely, if the Dems lose this election, they could all thank Obama.

Read the story. He went through initial security screening in Lima, Peru! That's where his first flight to Fort Lauderdale in Florida originated. At Fort Lauderdale he caught a later connecting flight to NYC. Entry of animals like the marmoset in this story is controlled by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

I saw that story. Don't remember seeing any names though. I think it was in like India. Or somewhere south east Asia. I can't remember for sure. But who cares about his name now, everyone will be calling him monkey man from now on.
