Did you know that Michael Jackson is a Muslim, and has been for about a year now? If Islam truly taught terrorism (and I already know it doesn't) do you really think M.J. would have chosen it as his religion?

Last time I asked this, i got about 50 people telling me "Your stupid, Muslims aren't terrorists", something I already know, as I AM a Muslim. Why don't people have the sense to check usernames?

JazakAllahu Khairan, Bothers and Sisters. It's nice when people actually take the time to understand a question, rather than just look for something easy to insult.

O.K. this one is for those who still don't get it...I'm not saying Michael Jackson is a saint, I'm not going to guess as to "why" he became Muslim, and I'm definitly not suggesting that he is, was or ever will be the perfect example of Islam. I am saying that "AS MICHAEL JACKSON IS A PACIFIST (that means non-violent, for the purposely ignorant of you) WOULD HE JOIN A RELIGION IF IT TAUGHT TERRORISM. The answer of course is NO. So, using the skills of comparison and reasoning God gave us (well, some of us, appearantly) we can deduce that Islam isn't a religion of violence. There, is that simple enough for you?
(I thought Religion and Spirituality was full of idiots, but this place makes the dumbest of the R&S crowd look like intellectuals...)

Daglas, Yusuf Islam makes "music" that is haraam. He makes some anasheed, as well, but his last C.D. was haraam, and had no anasheed at all.

People come to Islam through God's guidance and because they know that Islam is the true religion Alhumdulillah.

I'm sorry but your point has a lot of flaws. There are Christians that believe handling poisonous snakes brings them closer to God. Others believe that dancing and singing is blasphemous. That doesn't mean all Christians feel that way...just some.

Pointing out that one VERY weird guy embraces Islam is an argument that ALL Muslims are pacifists is equally flawed.

The REAL point is that people of all religions have their own interpretations of the religion. The same is true for Islam. There are groups that embrace terrorism in the name of Islam, even though there are others that do not. However, because Islam is such a BIG religion, even 10% equate to a whole lot of people who wish us harm.

You are presenting Michael Jackson as an example of clear thinking and decision making? This seems like a poor choice based on problems he has had and seeming lack of skills in that area.

Why would someone call you stupid while supporting your position? You would expect the opposite.

Many people on YA use usernames that contradict their feelings about or position on a particular subject, it's called sarcasm.

While not a Muslim myself, I understand that there are fundamentalists of every kind and they are the greatest threats to peace in the world these days, be they Muslim, Christian, Jewish or Hindu.

I am having difficulty understanding just what question you are asking or what point you are trying to make.

i do no longer understand. the component is he does have (or perchance did have) assorted money. It would not sound in the slightest degree unbelievable to me that some each physique is purely attempting to extort money from him. And what extra effective way than to declare he's a new child molester through fact he hangs around little ones plenty. I additionally do no longer discover it unbelievable that he extremely does be apologetic with reference to the fact that he did no longer have numerous a early lifestyles himself consequently he lives vicariously via those little ones and treats them like his acquaintances devoid of doing something irrelevant.

I respect you choice to be Muslim. No bashing based upon beliefs...I'm a Christian, I love Jesus and I am hated as well...the only thing is, Michael Jackson is so misguided as a person, I don't think using him as focus for a post will make anyone do anything but cringe!
I pray he saves his soul, he was a great artist.

Whether MJ is a Muslim or not, I could care less, he is a wanna-be white. The surgeries all speak for themselves and his arrogance toward his own race shows it.
He spent more money trying to be white then anything else and his face is the proof.
For someone that made as much as he has as a singer, songwriter and professional person, he has no brains. It's sad, he's gone the way of the rest of them that couldn't handle his money and power, like Elvis, to much money, to much power.

If your argument is that not all Muslims are terrorists (which I of course agree with) just because Michael Jackson is one and he is an upstanding normal guy....then I think you better find a new "spokesperson" for your campaign! :P

Sometimes people don't even read the question nor the answer.. they just insult :D.

Michael is great and they fainted by his voice when he was non- Muslim, but now Fanatics say: oooh, the peadophelic Michael?

I believe that he took with him many open minded people.

Islam doesn't teach terrorism, but the vast majority of terrorists are muslim. Therefore it makes sense to look at all muslims with a wary eye.

It doesn't matter if you don't like it, it's just good sense to do so. That'd be like if all terrorists wore red shirts. That doesn't mean that wearing red makes you a terrorist, but you'd be a fool not to pay closer attention to someone you saw wearing red.
