..would've given this story as much attention?
I mean if EVERYTHING was exactly like is is now except for Jessie and Bobby being the same race, white/white, black/black, etc. would we even known about this story?

Both seem to want to take on roles/postions which are wholly inappropriate.

First we have Kate McCann wanting to quit her job as a GP to fight child trafficking and raise awareness about missing children. During her sermons, will she include an aside about not leaving your kids alone in the first place?

I posted a question about how Paris Hilton has recieved better media attention than the US Soliders that have been killed in Iraq. Over 100000 have died since 2003. 8 died this past Saturday. There are multiple Hilton posts with many answers to them. My post recived 6 answers. How can the world care more about Hilton than the men and women serving in the US Military that are protecting them from the forces of evil that are trying to hurt your way of living.

The fact that the man is married and having sex with women other than his wife doesn't say much for the man's character.

Even if the man is separated from his wife, why would any woman choose a married man to father her children?

Seems to me that any woman who has children with a married man is lacking good judgement, commonsense and perhaps suffering from low self-esteem.

I know I don't stand alone in saying "I'm sick of Paris Hilton" She was a spoiled, rich NOBODY until she made her home porn movie...now she's a spoiled, rich, airhead home porn star. ENOUGH ALREADY! You can't watch a TV program, listen to a radio, or have your Yahoo home page come up without seeing her. I would love to see Yahoo set an example and QUIT covering this NONSENSE!! There are so many other news worthy events going on in the world. Other than "eye candy" I don't think ANYONE likes her or cares what she's doing, wearing, or having her dumb comments repeated by the media. I the only subject that has been covered about Paris that I consider "news worthy", is when she was able to manipulate a Sheriff into letting her out of jail...the story should have been: Sheriff arrested for releasing a prisoner!! In my opinion...it's only a matter of time until she drives drunk again and kills an innocent family; BECAUSE she is above the law...that's the message you are all sending.

I think it must have been one persons idea to leave the children. ( Gerrry). If I was Kate, I would be too bitter and full of resentment to stay with him.
I think at the moment they are showing solidarity, but when it all goes quiet in the future, what then?

From reading “Yahoo News” this morning By ANDREW DALTON, the Associated Press Writer. Paris is out of jail now. She was released after three weeks from getting a special celebrity treatment with her wealth and fame in the jail system, for the reasons including good behavior.

I am very proud of her when she went back and finished her sentence. It was releasing some bad thought that I had about her.

However, I believe Paris should do one more “The right thing”. That is to pay back the money to the taxpayers that she should owe.

Andrew Dalton explain in his writing, “While Paris Hilton stayed there in jail, it cost taxpayers $1,109.78 a day, more than 10 times the cost of housing inmates in the general population.” Then, I think Hilton should owe $ 998.80 a day multiple by three weeks plus taxes for the cause of all these unnecessary of the rebellion jail things and the law. I think she should pay back the money and times that the laws had to spent on her. I also heard from the “Entertainment channel” news that she will make a million dollar for just one interview on TV., I think she is more than can afford it. I think she should give back all those money on everything she owe, what do you think?

There are many blue collar jobs such as in construction, engineering and catering that could be trained inhouse and a condition of their probationary period should be employment in that profession In a commercial setting or perhaps join the army is special units.

The young boys (and girls) should be in different prisons - for those that have substance abuse and those that could be readily trained for suitable employment as soon as they hit jail time.

When the government was installed by the US? Could the CIA be benefitting financially I wonder? An author named Gary Webb wrote a book entitled "Dark Alliance: CIA, the Contras and the Crack Cocaine Explosion" in 1998. He died soon afterwards as a result of two gunshot wounds to the back of his head. The verdict? Suicide! Go figure!

My heart goes out to the families of the 3 people who died in recent flooding. But one question is niggling me and my colleagues... apparently he got his leg stuck in a drain and firemen did alsorts to try and save him, including knocking a wall down to try and direct water away from him... but why couldn't they buy time by giving him breathing aparatus??? Fire engines have them, so why did he drown?
