In your own opinion, what do you think?
From reading “Yahoo News” this morning By ANDREW DALTON, the Associated Press Writer. Paris is out of jail now. She was released after three weeks from getting a special celebrity treatment with her wealth and fame in the jail system, for the reasons including good behavior.

I am very proud of her when she went back and finished her sentence. It was releasing some bad thought that I had about her.

However, I believe Paris should do one more “The right thing”. That is to pay back the money to the taxpayers that she should owe.

Andrew Dalton explain in his writing, “While Paris Hilton stayed there in jail, it cost taxpayers $1,109.78 a day, more than 10 times the cost of housing inmates in the general population.” Then, I think Hilton should owe $ 998.80 a day multiple by three weeks plus taxes for the cause of all these unnecessary of the rebellion jail things and the law. I think she should pay back the money and times that the laws had to spent on her. I also heard from the “Entertainment channel” news that she will make a million dollar for just one interview on TV., I think she is more than can afford it. I think she should give back all those money on everything she owe, what do you think?

I agree with you, and even more than that, Paris should do it voluntarily. If would be different if she had not been caught driving on a suspended license (twice) but she had the nerve to flaunt authority to the point that she must have thought she could do whatever she wanted and the law did not apply to her.

If she is serious about wanting to be a different person, she should pay back that amount for housing her, she should spend a good deal of her time talking to teens about the dangers of the wild Hollywood lifestyle, and maybe think about going to college to expand her mind and to prepare her to do some good in the world. God blesses us for a reason, not to squander our gifts. And like most of the panel, I too will be glad when we no longer see her face everywhere we look.

Regardless of whether she's a celeb, an ex-athlete, or just another junkie, Paris didn't get to 'choose' her accommodations in jail. The decision to keep her separate was made by the sheriff (probably wisely) in order to keep his jail from being too disrupted.

Therefore, she doesn't owe anything if the stay was more expensive than the average.

Now, if you want to make the argument that ALL inmates should pay restitution to the governments that pay for their incarceration, THAT might be a good discussion!

In general I am tired of paris Hilton all together. She is an over privileged, spoiled rotten brat that hasn't truly leanred how to treat people in general. She has no respect for laws, for others feelings or for her parents. She feels she has enough money and daddy is big enough she can get out of anything. I think she should be forced to fade into the back ground and not allowed to be in the spotlight any longer. Her 15 seconds of fame should end.

I don't like Paris Hilton, but to be honest she should have never went to jail in the first place. Average people do not get jail time for that, the judge was trying to set an example to the rich and famous. Driving with a suspened liscense should not equal jail time.

She has to, its part of the court fees but, the court isn't going to pay the taxpayers back. I also think people should stop worrying about Paris Hilton.

Paris' family has paid more taxes in a few years then a lot of people make in their life time. I'm not a fan, but people need to quit hating.

no, what about the thousands of other prisoners in federal and local? when they get out, should they pay us back? how about the ones who keep finding their way back. Leave Paris alone, I know she shouldnt get treatment for her status, but she also doesnt need anything so harsh. Its just a violation for goodness sake

Nah, that would be overdoing it. Look, I'm no fan of hers but she paid her 'debt to society' by serving her sentence, and we all got a laugh out of it and with her crying in court and screaming "Mommy!", but I think enough is enough. Now let's just hope she's a good little girl from now on and uses her family's chauffeur.

I just want her to go away, I don't want to hear the name Paris again unless I am touring in France, she is a big nothing and I don't know why people (myself included) even give a rusty rats *** what the skinny tard does!!!

Sure... but only if every single other person who ever went to jail has to pay it back. Whether or not she can afford to is completely irrelevant.
