I have to send a gift to someone, but I don't really know the best way. And, it needs to go out tommorow! (the date snuck up on me). I don't understand all the mailing options at the post office or UPS, but the picture measures about 9" x 12" and has glass in it. Please help, as I am pressed for time, and don't do much mailing.

When my ex put in my light tile with light grout in the living room, he never put the seal on. It is nasty dirty now. I had previously tried to scrape, put sealer on, scrubbed it with 'Ajax' with bleach, put sealer on, nothing seems to work. I already thougt about just painting it. Is there a machine out there, scraping it out, so I could refill it with new grout and then seal it? Or would that not hold? Any ideas? I surely appreciate it. My back and knees hurt just thinking about that darn floor again...

How do I get rid of ants outside? Like in flower pots, hanging baskets and trees ,flower beds, porch I have tried everything. They are not fire ants or sugsr ants. PS whatever the ants get in will eventually die, like my flowers and trees.

I'm fairly new to this state, so I get surprised easily by the bugs here. I first noticed this spider firmly attached to the underside of my dog. I removed it and killed it, of course. I then found another one in my bed later. Tonight, I looked down at my arm, and another little creeper was on my arm! They're the smallest little spider, but it doesn't seem to be the type of spider where you can even see the two sections that spiders have. It's very round, very black, and has a hard shell. It really seems to like to grab ahold of what it's got, though it doesn't burrow. It's about the size of a regular-sized mole. Weird comparison, I know, but it's the best I could think of.

I was given a bonsai tree this christmas, I thought I was looking after it quite well (except at one point where it looked a bit dodgy, but i figured out it wasn't getting enough sunlight and moved it.) I am a student and I don't really have the right aparatus to submerge it in water, but i do water it every 2 days. Recently its leaves are changing colour and falling off, is this a symptom of the cold weather, or a sign that it's about to die? What can be done to save my tree?

k heres the deal...a 19 year old girl moved in to the apt next to mine. she also works at the same place i do but has different hours, so she knows what times i'm not home. since she moved in i have noticed things missing like money and small things. last week while i was home she was visiting and she stole a pack of smokes. did i say that she has no money and her water is shut off?? she told people at work that she was taking showers at my house. i had no clue she was doing that i had to put a lock on my computer so she would not use it. i can't lock my door it is a sliding glass door and the lock is broke i don't live in a bad part of town so i thought nothing of it. my landlord is going to fix the door but i don't know when..what should i do

thanks

My neighbour is planning an extension. The boundary is marked by a hedge which they own. The hedge is quite wide (~1m). They plan to build right up to the hedge saying that the boundary is the edge of the hedge on our side (and hence they don't break the planning regulations about building within a metre of the boundary). However, if the boundary was in the middle of the hedge they'd have to be less ambitious.

Where the boundary is ambiguous is there any default in English law to decide where the boundary is?

It can be brushed off and looks and feels a bit like dirt, but it's not! My point is that it's not actually eaten into the leaves, more like on the under surface. The plant isn't dying but doesnt really appear to be thriving either! It just stays the same really, I don't know anything about ivy, could someone tell me what this could be and how to get rid of it? Could i wipe this 'stuff' off the leaves or would I have to treat it in some way?thanks

Has anyone ever heard of sheet garters, and if so, where can I find some? All of the fitted sheets I puchase have a tendency to either be too large or too small. This problem either causes the sheet to slip off the matress or to bunch up and wrinkle which makes it difficult to rest well. I have tried pinning the sheets to the matress using safety pins but they really damage the linen.

Our hallway is wood floor. It doesn't squeak but no matter if you tiptoe, have socks on to muffle the sound, or walk very slowly, the floor catches ever step you make and wakes the kids when they are sleeping. We have no choice as to walk by their rooms to get to our room or the bathroom. Even tried shutting their door, doesn't work, they still hear us, they are not light sleepers that is about the only thing that wakes them. And then they get upset. How can we keep our noisy feet from waking the kids?

Please don't be rude...
