how will i know when all mice are gone?

we have caught 5 mice within three days my hubby has plugged all holes that we have found just wondering how i will know we have taken care of the problem. and how long it take these boogers to do if we dont catch i know they multiply by the hundreds. today we have caught any and we have only caught them in the bathrrom and kitchen i havent found droppings anywhere except under kitchen sink

i meant how long it takes the boogers to die

Mice families number 5 to 7. So, keep the traps and whatever set for at least a week beyond the last catch. They do get trap smart. So switch baits and trap location.

Usually once you have had an invasion of mice, you'll have another. They are very adaptable to human domiciles.

mice can be a devil to eradicate,firstly i wouldnt of blocked up any holes,by blocking up holes then you may force any that are left to knaw away and find different routes and cause damage,clean up any droppings you find and persevere with the traps for at least another 10 days.always stick to traps if mice are in your house and never resort to poisons,mice are only small but if there are a family and you poison them they really can make a foul smell and if its under a floorboard or similar area then you can create yourself a headache finding them.the most important thing is finding out what attracted them in the first place and how they entered the house,fix this and you wont get it reocurring in the future.

If you are setting traps, you should be catching one every couple of days until they are gone. I would leave the traps baited for a week just to be sure.

put a pea in the mousetrap by the hole that they came into your house from...when they take a pea.....wham dead mouse.
