Please go to the Sears website. On the left there is a list of departments. Click on "Parts". When that loads enter you model number in the space asking for it. When that loads click on "Continue". When that loads click on "Base Assembly"
When that loads scroll down to "Instruction Book" to order your manual. It is part #2988, and it costs (U.S.) $10.99 plus shipping & handling. Hope that helps.

There is a great series of old I've found at the library and via used booksellers called "Know Your Sewing Machines". There is a basic version on ones for the various makes, Bernina, Singer etc. When I returned to sewing with an old machine I found it an incredible resource for basic operations as well as a source of great info re: features etc I never learned in Home Ec!

Look up Sears on the Internet. You will be able to find and download a manual there. You may find it under the name, if the Kenmore sewing machine has one

If the sewing machine is not too old you can go on line to Sears and download the manual or find what you are looking for.

Is there a 1-800 number printed on the label (serial no.) that you can call and request a manual be sent to you? Sometimes there is a number to call listed by the serial number.
