the tree onion grows from a the main bulb on top of a fairly thik stem, where several small onions grow. The plant is usualy about 18inches or close to half a meter high the small onions are difficult to handle perhaps these are just the seeds for a new crop.

Calling all arachnologists --?
I'll probably post this in lawn and garden, too. It's not a very technical question. I just need help identifying something.

My Mother-In-Law's house has been plagued by large spiders for the last three years. They look similar to an average, brown house spider, but they're usually around the size of a silver dollar.

They don't build nests. They like to hide underneath made bed sheets, in piles of clothes or in other crevices. They can jump up to three feet, and they're very aggressive.

They're brown, with yellow stripes running down their backs, and visible fangs. How can these things be driven out? Would they likely be breeding in an outdoor shed or a woodpile? We've only ever seen them inside, and never around the areas just mentioned.

Is there anywhere to take recreational cooking classes in Spokane, WA? I want to take classes for fun, but work full time and don't want to take culinary classes at a community college. I just want something fun 1 or 2 days a week.

I have a 13 month old who gets into everything. I also have a bad ant problem. The ant's arn't in places you would expect to find them. They are getting into our cloths, around my computer, other electrical things and papers. There not around water or food. So I need something that I can spray that will dry so my daughter won't get into it. We have a brick home and I'm guessing they are comming in under the base boards becuase I can't ever find a trail. It almost looks like someone had a contaner of ants and just pored them in the middle of the floor. Please Help!!

The bookshelf will be approx. 80" or 72" tall/high on casters & the left and right sides will be covered with plywood. It will be framed with 2x4 wall studs...However, it will be open on both front & back sides only so both sides are useable (the left and right side will be closed with plywood).
Also, it will be approx. 36" wide x 23"deep. What do you think? Any tips, precautions, & is this doable? What is the best construction for this bookshelf?
It will be on casters so I can pull it away from the wall to access the other side. Thank you in advance. I don't want it to topple over and I don't want it to bow in the middle (under the weight of my books) or bow out on the sides (since it will be backless).
I am not rich so I am looking for a cost effective but safe & sturdy way to accomplish this project. I'm open to the suggestions of using other materials but it must be cost effective and safe. (example" 2x4 walls studs cost $1.79 each for an 8 foot stick/$14.00 for plywood sheets)

It's an Oreck XL Professional with a metal filter that never needs replacing. I bought the cleaning solution they sell, but I'm wondering if there is something else I can use? I need something that is going to take the caked on junk (mostly from cigarette smoke I think) off of the metal. Just in case anyone else has some experience with one.
Thanks!

I just bought a house and am going to be moving into it in a month. Problem is my lease isn't up till December. I can't afford to pay both my lease and my mortgage, and it's really hard to get out of a lease while still getting to keep the security deposit. So I need a good reason to break the lease, so my landlord won't have a problem with it and will still give me my security back. Can someone please give me a really good excuse, cause i can't seem to come up with one. Thank you all who respond to this!

You know, you hear about houses with southern exposure being the best (I think)--what do I have? I would guess "western" since my front yard faces the west but don't really understand the terminology.
