Is there anywhere to take recreational cooking classes in Spokane, WA? I want to take classes for fun, but work full time and don't want to take culinary classes at a community college. I just want something fun 1 or 2 days a week.

p.s. i have looked at apple charlotte's website. she is very expensive, and booked until at least january!

Best advice is to visit any local gourmet food, wine, or kitchenware shops in your area. I'm betting that they can put you in touch with either classes or informal groups that will fill the bill.
You might also try special interest groups (like Yahoo groups) on the internet to find people with the same interests.

Go check the website cookinglight.com they have a community that offer a platform for people to get together cook & learn...they're might be people in your area already in a group or you can start one!
