Okay ill explain the best i can:

The tool is like an axe on both ends but one of the sides of the axe is turned up.
I think it might be used for digging through tree roots and stuff. Im not too sure though.
Anyone know what this is or what it does??

I've come up with 2 possibilities:

Carving Adze -- Large Double Blade Curved Adze (photo & link below) or Coopers Adze (can't get link, it's been removed, but if you google image on double adze, it will show up in a small size.

Hope this gives you enough information to find more for yourself!! Good luck!

Big_mustache could be right, too, but it seems to be spelled pulaski. See 3rd link below for photo.

Pick Axe. Both blades are sharpened.
It can be used as you stated.
As an ax in cutting a tree.
As a pick to dig.
As a tool to "Hoe".

(There is a tool, with both flat ends "turned up", often referred to as a "maddox", used to turn earth for planting)
This is "unlike" a pick, with two pointed ends, which can be used for breaking rocks or concrete.

All these were used in mining, by hand.

This sounds like a Polaski. Used to dig narrow trenches with one side and through tree roots with the other.
