How about going back to the retailer where you got it? It seems to me that they owe you one set of assembly instructions. You can also visit the manufacturers website and usually you will find PDF versions of owner's manuals and other documents. At the very least, you should be able to contact them and have them send you the instructions.
Good luck with your problem.

If you can't get info off of a web site, try this. Lay all the pieces out, and try to figure out what each piece is used for. Then see how they fit together. For something as uncomplicated as a chair, this should suffice.

See if you can go to the web site of the company that makes the chair and print off instructions for that model.

Check the brand name on the chair. Go to the company's website. Usually there is a "support" section where you can download directions. Please do this, so you won't put it together incorrectly and get hurt when you sit in it. Best of luck!
