In my front yard we have an old milk-can. (So old you won't believe it!) Anyway, my father was wanted to mow under it so he moved the milk-can. Under it, was a small garder snake. Should we get rid of it? He really doesn't do any harm and i know garder snakes don't bite but my father wants it out. I told him he doesn't bother anyone but he insists. The snake is kinda cute. What should i do?

The china was made in the 1940's, some of it is marked "western sector". It is cream-colored with a wide cobalt blue border with gold trim. There is a gold medallion in the center of each plate. The serving pieces are square or rectangular.

In the next six months we are probably going to buy a new house around £280K. How much is it roughly is it going to cost us to move. We aren't selling our currant place, so aren't worried about selling costs, just buying and moving costs. I can think of stamp duty, moving vans, solicitors fees, have I missed anything? What have been peoples experiences with moving costs? Thanks.

I would be grateful for any input, as the responsibility of the cost of replacing a cooker so damaged is at stake. Is it the homeowner, whose appliance this is, who's liable, or the tenant who lined the oven shelves with foil? Thanks.
