Particular areas are Ellenboro and Lake Lure

I believe most of NC is in zone 7

I searched the Internet and found this website specifically for North Carolina. It had a map of the state with hardiness zones, a.k.a. growing zones. There was no labeling of counties, but you live there and may recognize your area.

do a search on usda zone map.....we are in zone 7
