Blackberries are evil, this plant is reaching it's ugly arms onto my property from my neighbors yard. I need to kill it without killing the other plants in the area.

It's evil i tell you, the arms reach over and then go into the ground on my side and form new plants there, its like an alian. Its the plant from hell!

I've observed a well cut, slight slope, hill with many groundhogs but never any dirt from they're tunnels that they dug. With that many groundhogs there must be a huge pile of dirt somewhere ..

Our tree in our back garden is brown and has produced no new pine cones. The little branches are dead and have no sap. We realise the harshly hot summer has affected all scotish pine, but ours seems to have died. It is 20ft high.
We love our tree can we do anything to save it?

We recently bought a property in North Queensland, Australia. Today the witch who owns the property behind us demanded that we cut down 3 of our trees, because of the leaves that fall into her property, and she doesn't have time to clean them up. She whinged about why she should have to clear up "our rubbish". We bought this property in good faith, mainly because of the beautiful trees. Why should we cut down our beautiful trees because the witch it too damn lazy to rake them up??? A tree is a tree, and they shed leaves!! We get leaves in our property from our next door neighbours, and we don't complain.

Does anyone know what our rights are. We absolutely do not want to cut down our trees, and can't see why we should. thanks.

3 years ago I bought a cactus for my patio. It was like 8" tall and 6" in diameter when I bought it. I started to grow a little taller. I thought, "Cool! It's growing." Then it grew more...and more...and more. Soon it was 3 feet tall and too big for it's pot, so I moved it to a slightly bigger pot...to appease it. It stopped growing at that point. Little did I know, but its lust for power was not sated by it's new home; It hungered for more. Oblivious, I thought, "Whew...I guess this is as big as it will get." I looked up the name online and found out that this particular type can grow up to 20 feet tall. "Crap!" Soon, after it had lulled me into a false sense of security with its inactivity, the monster again resumed it's growth. And it grew...and grew...and grew. Now it's roots are breaking through the bottom of the pot, and it's over 8 feet tall...and shows no signs of stopping!
Help! How do I stop it? Can you prune a cactus? Will chopping some off kill it?

I have a pretty good sized apt. and love plants, used to have tons of them for years. Now I am having lots of failures. The only exposures available to me are North & West. I know that's part of my problem, easy plants like philodendrens, etc. do fairly well in North exposure, but I have two kitties who do a job on them, as they come and go in the front windows. I have 13 foot ceilings, can't think of an attractive way to use a full-spectrum light. West exposure is kitchen and bedroom with another tall apartment building next door, two large windows in kitchen, one in bedroom, but another tall apt. building right next door. Can anyone advise on plants like strawberry begonias and Wax plants (Hoyas) and the like? I believe hanging plants would be best, but have plaster walls and although I'm pretty good with a drill, I'm also short and can't see climbing that high. Thanks to any houseplant lovers!!

I had a stump ground down, and now I have a lot of shredded wood to use for mulch. I have plants against the house. Can I use this mulch safely. And before anyone comments, yes I read about the circulating email that warned against the dreaded formosan termite from new orleans. I know that's a myth.

There's a giant spill of filtered diatomaceous earth on my lawn! It was intended for my pool, but someone foolishlessly left it on the lawn and it spilled. I dont want it to kill my lawn and I'm worried for my dog's safety because it's hazardous. Is there anything to neutralize its effects? What should I do?
