I am surrounded and innundated by stickers. I live in North Texas. They are so bad that they are all in my house and my 17 month old even has a name for them. We all get at least 4 or 5 stickers a day in our feet and my baby boy is so used to them he pulls them out of his feet and brings them to me. We are in sticker hell and would appreciate any help. I need big help, we live on 20 acres. thanks.,,

I have 5 large trees on the front lawn- I don't know exactly what type. One of them has bark falling off of the top branches and looks like the leaves are thinning. Some branches are bare. The yard was in much disrepair when we purchased the house 2 months ago, there seems to be fungus on the lawn and there is soil erosion. I had a "tree specialist" come out and he said it needed to be cut down, no hope for it, but he is also a tree trimmer/cutter person and he would benefit from cutting the tree. Is there any way to save it? How do I know it is truly dying? This person also told me the tree was sick and would kill off all the other trees. It does have ants/earwigs crawling about it. I also have another tree with mushrooms around the base and I have mushrooms on the lawn! Any advice, please?

i need to know chemical and non chemical methods for controlling or eradicating this weed. Preferably not specific chemicals just which work better eg, sprays vs granular etc and what time of year to apply. Answers will need to be specific to the southern hemisphere so give seasons rather than months.

Our neighbor accidentally cut a natural gas line. The police and fire department showed up. I was wondering if the utility company will bill the person who cut it, and how much. Please include your source.

I was mowing on a semi-old riding mower and the belt that turns the blade broke. I'm not sure how old it really is but I know that the belt wasn't in the best shape. Anyway, It's a Bolens 2133 Riding Lawn Mower, One Step Molching Rider. I'm not sure about measurements on the belt length either, but the belt has a groove down the middle (as opposed to being just a regular belt that's flat) Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks,
Kyle

I live in zone 9 (central Florida), and my yard has full sun all day. I have few trees and no shade. I'd like to start developing my garden, but my thumbs are far from green. I'd like to feature some orange colored plants and flowers (my house is yellow with a red door; the orange would tie it together), but I need hardy plants that can tolerate the sun and heat and some neglect. Can anyone recommend any good plants? I'm looking for plants that have a more tropical feel than your basic marigolds or mums.

I like to know what do people think of UV sterilization for outdoor ponds,
I have a pond outdoors and it has no shade so a lot algae has been building up but haveing had any issues yet. What other way is there to control it exept for chemicals.
Also does anyone know a good inexpensive UV Sterilizer. I saw a lot of JEBO brand on ebay. How good are they and are the bulb easy to get.
thank you.
