Makes no sounds during filling.....fills fine. Actually spins, but makes really loud thumping sounds and also sounds like it's about to just die any minute (kind of like an old car that's about to stall), but keeps chugging along. I read somewhere that it may be off balance, but I tried running it empty and still had the same problem. Anyway solutions? Really can't afford a new washer right now, but need to know if the problem is so great that I may as well buy a new one. By the way, don't EVER buy GE......nothing but problems from my dryer and now THIS with my washer!

They've come twice to shampoo and clean the air ducts and it still stinks. It smells like mildew and smoke. It's in my clothes, hair, and linens. It can cause a problem with my profession as a massage therapist where cleanliness is key and i do not smell clean no matter if I just washed my clothes the night before.

a new kitten piddled on my down comforter, (in a duvet of course). The duvet is machine washable, the comforter is not. There is a small stain, but I am more concerned with the urine smell. I don't want a repeat experience! Do the home dry cleaning products work? (I have access to a front load dryer), or do I need to break down and have it professionally cleaned?

i'm buying my mom a new clothes line for christmas and do not want to get a retractable one.. i want one thats made of wood and has a metal stand that goes into the ground, the bigger the better, and i've tried home depot, walmart, target, lowes, and all the other retail stores in central mass. and overstock.com - i would like to spend less then 100. and if possible less then 50 including shipping, which is why i went to overstock because they are only 2.95 to ship anything.. please help if u know where to get one..

I am wearing these new pants, and they are mostly polyester. As soon as I stepped out of the car, they started hugging my legs. I look rediculous. Does anyone have any static rememdies that I can do in the office? I dont' have a access to much. I have a meeting in an hour.

I recently moved into a house and even though it is only 7 years old the shower tray looks ancient. I would love to see a sparkle

Sometimes the smell lingers after you have washed it. Is there a recommended washing powder or pre wash soaker?

(Yes, I do wash myself properly at least once a day and yes, I do use deodrant/antipersperant)

The stain is about 8 hours old. I already tried cold water and paper towels. The stain is not as dark, but it is smudged.

I clean my house for at least three hours a day, yet it never looks like I've done a thing! (after husband and kids tear it up.) Should I be spending more time? I feel like I'm missing out on life!

I bought a used suitcase in really great shape, but when I got it home I realized it smells like ben-gay or Vicks vapo-rub. I wiped it off and aired it out but then stored it away for about 2 weeks and the odor is back. What can I do to get rid of the smell for good? Thanks for your help.
