It seems to leak out of the track on the frame or from the bottom of the door itself along a channel that is not level. Could the door may have been put on bachwards? Could the seal be leaking?

Growing up in the 1970s and 1980s, my family always had an electric can opener and it seemed that everyone else did as well. Today, however, it seems as if electric can openers are quite rare. My wife and I don't have one. Neither my parents nor any of the friends whose homes I've visited lately contain one. The nearby Target, which carries 20 models of every other small electric, had only two electric can openers last I checked. Obviously, it seems like a larger percentage of food comes in plastic packages or pull top cans. But, while I'd assume that there have been some advances in plastic packaging, pull tops existed in the 1970s too. Any ideas?

I quit smoking the day I found out I was pregnant (1 month ago) and my boyfriend has been smoking outside. It still smells like smoke in here and it's disgusting. Everytime I lay on the couch I want to puke and air still smells gross. We were heavy smokers (he's cut down a lot and I'm sure the -40c we're going into will help him stop) What should I do?

There was a small fire in my oven today. I THINK it was caused by food particules at the bottom of oven, thanks to my lazy roommate. I went into a panic when the fire wasn't going out with the oven shut, so I turned off the oven, then poured a small amount of water on the fire (about a small glass of waters worth), which I know wasn't the smartest! It put out the fire right away, but I was wondering if the oven is still safe to use. Thanks so much!

I found some really cool panels that go on the fluorescent light fixtures common in offices.

Here's what they look like:

Does anyone know where I could find out how to make these for myself? I'd love to design my own, but I want to do it as inexpensively as possible while still having it look good.

I'm a teenage girl with a very messy room. Mostly clutter, and on the floor is just all clothes. Can you help with steps to clean it up and organize it nicely? I don't know where to start! I also am really into photography, so i have tons of pictures with my friends and what not. Is there any way to neatly organize those too? I just want any suggestions at all. :)

It just seems a lot cheaper to buy water than it is to pay a plumber to fix frozen pipes. Not to mention the aggravation and the inconvenience.

The repairman told me it was gonna cost me $300 plus whatever parts he needs and I have a friend who told me that I can buy the part and do it myself for cheaper. He also told me that all the parts for your heating and AC are all under a $100. It's just having the know how to do it! Any help?

I planted a green giant thuja evergreen around 09/15/2007.
I didn't notice at the time it was planted with a slight lean.
Will it straighten itself out next spring when it starts to grow, or should I do something about it now.
I really do not want to disturb it.
I planted 3 total plants and they all are getting light golden brown on every branch on the very ends (tips).
Is this normal.
Thank for any advice

I used my microwave this morning and it worked fine. I just tried to use it a few minutes ago, and it started making this loud buzzing sound, with the light flashing on and off. When I opened the door, the inside was smoking. It's only seven years old, and it's not a cheap model. Does ANYONE know what this could be (and how much it would cost to fix)? I can't afford another really nice one, and I know that it's technically possible to live without a microwave, but it would really suck. Thanks for your help:)

I am in sales my entire life. I know how to sell and buy. However! I never can get furniture stores to move on price. I have seem to try every close I can think of but to no avail. With the most brands exclusive or very limited to one place per town it is hard to say so and so store is going to sell it to me for X amount of dollars cheaper. Anyway ne idea would be great. If it matters I am thinking of going to eathan allen as one stop but don't need to buy there.

I just bought a Brinkmann 805-2101-S Pitmaster Deluxe Smoke 'N Pit. I like it a lot and want to convert it to a gas grill so that I can use it for anything from slow cooking a brisket or firing up the propane and grilling some hamburgers real quick. What would be an easy way too run some propane burners up into the main grilling area and attach them to a propane bottle? Are there any kits out there for doing this?

I have checked circuits ,they are fine. I tested wires to circuits and they are not getting any current. Could it be a receptacle which had a portable heater plugged into it. there is not obvious burn mark in receptacles anywhere in room. I have tried everything but changing out every outlet. any sugesstions before I have to call an electrician. Thank you ps. circuit breakers are fine-fuses are fine.
