i was watching this show" cool tools" on DIY and they showed this one tool that i cant remember wht its called, it has the same function as a socket wrench, it loosens bolts, but the grasping part is more circular and it gets smaller as you squeeze the handle, can you help?

I kinda have to agree with answer one. No offense to you or DIY network, but PROVEN performance and effectiveness is what I need to function.

When I see NEW like that I'm often reminded of infomercials similar to RONCO, "$19.95 and if you act right now...we'll include."

You might do a Consumer Reports bit of research

I believe that it is the new Craftsman crescent socket. I don't think it is all it's cracked up to be. New tools have to grow on me, but the make for good conversations.
