We just brought a home. It has a brand new apartment which we are living in while we work on the rest of the house that we plan on living in.
We need but already have new appliances for our kitchen, new counters, a new toilet and sink in the bathroom, installation in the open walls in the spare bedroom, new front door, updated electric and to finish the basement(wall, electric flooring) and then painting. We are not in a rush we are ok with out a teneant for a few months. So my question is how do we prioritize what gets done first.Do we demo everything that goes first or work room by room? Any good web sites we can refer to for simple explanations? I have major back injury how can I help my husband without hurting myself?
Thanks for the help

What’s the smelliest thing you can put in the kitchen trash?

Something easy & cheap or just a weird mixture of stuff.

No I’m not crazy I need to get people to take out the trash, if it smells terrible, they’ll take it out.

Any input or ideas would be great.

It's red fabric paint, and there is a big blotch on the leg.
Are there any home remedies, or something that I could use to get the stain out??
Help MUCH appreciated!!

The fascia board underneath the gutter can be covered with aluminum (which requires a brake to bend), a new kind of rolled plastic found in home centers (which also requires a brake to bend), or plastic facia which is found in the siding section. Which is best and why? What fasteners are used?

This is a fairly new product. The idea of not having to worry about rot again or not having to install bent alumininum over the fascia is attractive. But what are the disadvantages?
Also, what sort of fasteners are used?

I have always washed my dishes with a little bit of bleach for sanitation purposes, but a co-worker and I were talking about it the other day and she said it was bad for your health and body.. how true is that? I always make sure to double rinse them if and when I do wash them with bleach.

We are moving into a 3 bedroom apartment. The third bedroom which is really big has to be divided into half so that everyone can have their own room in my apartment. So can someone please give me ideas? I have an idea about a room divider such as this http://www.amazon.com/Panel-Screen-Divider-Cherry-Finish/dp/B0000YS93Q/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1195167215&sr=1-11
But will it hold and not tip over with just a small push? And how does it stay connected to the wall without falling . Can someone describe the item to me? And also please can someone give me ideas on how to divide a big room completly in half?

Ideas are appreciated! (oh, and those horrible shelves are coming out..) So color, storage ideas, etc., would be great!!!
