Depends on the shade of green!

We have green countertops and a green vinyl floor. It's not a hunter green... more a green going towards the blue family (if that makes any sense) By the way I do NOT like green but we can't afford to change it. What we did do recently was paint the walls a dark brown with grey undertones. We LOVE it. And it actually makes me tolerate the green better.

For what? And what shade of green? Right now 2 very popular colors together are lime green and bright blue.

Red is the complementary colour of green but that looks a lot like Christmas when you put them together. Certain purples go really well, also some oranges and yellows

It depends on what shade of green you're working with...
Lime: Pink, lemon yellow, silver, navy.

Sage or Celery: Creme, lavender, dove gray.

Just Plain Green: Bright red, sunflower yellow, white.

Deep Green: Burgundy, navy, chocolate, matte black.

That would depend on what shade of green and if you're looking for a warm, cool or accent color. If its a celery green, lavendar and maroon go very well.

Technically opposite the color wheel is red which is supposed to supplement a color that will create brown. That is supposed tto be the color that is absolutely the opposite of the color you are asking about.

well technically the answer would be red. Red and green are complementry colors (opposite on the color wheel) But if you're decorating, I'm sure you don't want your house to look like christmas.
