I know there is no such thing as a black rose. BUT, How do the florists do it? I know SOME spray them. But I was told they place the fresh cut red or white flowers in a container with Black dye made of food coloring. TRUE? or FALSE? If they DO dye, how many days 'til the petals turn black? My son has a homecoming dance in 3 days (10/13) and wants to give one to his date!

Hi, I am trying to sell my home and I need to redo my bathroom. I need a neutral color to go with a light grey, the color of my tile surround around the tub. The rest of my house is pretty neutral colors, but I can't think of a nice color to go with grey, and it is a small bathroom, so I don't want to do anything dark...... I also have a white marble vanity top with some peach color running thru it. Any suggestions? Thanks.

My foyer is 2 stories high. I'm starting to get spider webs and wanted to know if there was any kind of telescoping duster or something that I could use instead of a ladder (I'm afraid of heights). Where can I get something like that? Any suggestions?

This year I grew a few hundred pumpkins in our large back yard. But now I want to save some of the seeds from the larger pumpkins and white pumpkins to grow again next year. Before I carve my pumpkins and extract the seeds what is a good way to store the seeds and is there anything I need to do to preserve them for next year?

There is a minor drip-drip sound coming from the back of my toilet. It seems to be inside. I don't see any water anywhere. Could this be bad, like causing water damage to the floor underneath the toilet? Or do you think it is just dripping within the toilet? Please help, I'm no plummer.

What would be a fair estimate on painting a studio apartment on the 3rd floor? The woman also wants it cleaned up. She also has a 2 bedroom apt. on the first floor. Just needs repainting. I'm not a professional(don't paint for a living) but I am skilled, have painted many rooms in my day, and know what a good job is supposed to look like. I dont want to cheat myself and also dont want to scare her away with the price. I could use the spare cash rt. now. thanks in advance.

I have had this christmas cactus for years and about 2 years ago it stopped blooming. I have tried it all, I have repotted it in cactus fertilizer and now brought it outside in the shade and it is growing like crazy. All the leaves are reddish but I still get no blooms. How can I force it to bloom to see if it still will?

We want to paint our garage door this weekend. It's supposed to be around 60 to 63 degrees, 10% chance of rain but damp. Will it be okay to paint?

Also, I'm thinking we need to prime it first. Do we need to sand it before priming?

Lastly, should we use semi-gloss paint?

I am looking for a no contracts apartment home security system.

Theres only one entrance to our apartment as we're on level 2, so the door is the one place that needs covering; I'm looking for something that will make a LOUD noise when the door is opened after I have set the alarm to 'on'.

This may take the form of a laser beam or something similar?

I do have a cat - if she is likely to set it off at night, its not a problem to keep her away in the bathroom, but pls can you state whether the cat would/wouldn't set the alarm off.

Thanks!!!
