Reading your other question a lot will depend where the land is, whether it is in good repair, has a water feed, safe for stock, easily accessible etc. Remember if you sell it, that's it, it's gone forever. If you let or lease it you have an income coming in for yrs to come. Grazing can be anything from £50 an acre upwards per year, or if you have horses on you could charge per week, say £10 per horse per week. Also bear in mind if you come to sell your house it will probably be worth more if you can sell it with some land attached. And as someone else said, if you are going to sell it, do so in two or three lots after getting valuations from 3 land agents

That may depend on the zoning in your area. Grazing land could be considered A1 for general agricultural use only. It may also be restricted use agriculture and zoned for certain types of residential housing. Check with your local township/city or county zoning commision to find out.

Strictly speaking it is not agricultural land, as it is not 'tilled' (ploughed and set). Having said that, if you are grazing cattle, sheep or pigs etc. it could be deemed to be agricultural land in the broader sense of the word, as you are using the land to 'feed' animals to produce meat etc.
