I live in a basement apartment and usually burn one stick of Nag Champa a day. I'm just wondering if this will end up causing damage to my electronics. I have my computer, xbox 360, ps3 and expensive tv down here and was just a bit concerned. I've heard that smoking cigarettes can cause damage to electronics but I'm not sure if that applies with incenses. Thanks.

I am looking to landscape my front yard in the spring, I live in New Jersey so basically the North East....

I wanted to do a butterfly garden theme with various plants that would support the butterfly cycle, would this be a nice front yard display? I purchased a small condo and the front has a bay window so I figured do the butterfly bushes on each side of the bay window and various other lower plants right under the window, any suggestions, ideas?

Thanks!

My washer won't drain the dirty water, so I got a new one. I decided to buy a dryer along with it, so I can replace both of the old ones. Unfortunately, my bathroom doorway is 24", and my old dryer's dimensions are: H 35 x W 29 x D 25.5. The washer/dryer won't be able to fit through the door. Is there a possible way to take apart the dryer and reconstruct it again, or another solution?

In our older neighborhood there are beautiful pink and white flowering dogwood trees that have lined the streets for decades. They're regularly spaced in a four-foot wide grassy area between the street and sidewalk, two in front of each house. They're all between twelve to fifteen feet tall. The trunk of one of my neighbor's trees has grown at a very strange angle, about 60 degrees, I'd guess, and it's the only tree on the block that's done so. At a height of about five feet, the trunk is now, literally, at the middle of the sidewalk, and then from that point it goes straight upward. That 'elbow' of the trunk is at just the right height for unobservant and distracted pedestrians to smack right into it, face first. But it's a healthy looking tree other than that. We were wondering if it would be possible to remove the hazard and save the tree by uprooting it, turning it around, and then replanting it in the same spot. Or would we just kill the tree?

Recently purchased a rolltop desk... tambour has a 5x3-inch hole drilled through it near the top. (Previous owners drilled hole for power cords, didn't realize that rolltop was UP and accidentally drilled through rolltop, too!) Any way to repair this (is it possible to patch with similar tambour?) or should I just replace the entire thing? Hubby even thought about extending the top with a wood piece, just above the tambour, to come down over the hole and hide it. Any good ideas?? Thanks! :)

There is huge street light above my little city backyard.
How does gardening under a streetlight effect growth? The garden is never totally dark. What plants need this cycle?

This year my tomatoes and peppers did pretty good. Flower haven't really taken too well. A lot of squash-like vines grew this year too, volunteers from my compost, they flowered a little but never fruited; because of all the light or because they maybe were a hybrid of sort that has barren seed?
