I make sure to rinse everything really well each time I use it, but everyday there is a grey film on the recharging unit.

what gives?
what is it? and how do I keep it fromcoming back?
Its not just this one, I've had it happen toothers....

Its icky - any idea on how to get rid of it?

If your toothbrush is still wet when you put it on the base, it could be mineral deposits from the evaporating water.

There shouldn't be any "gunk" on the charger, but you will get a mixture of dried toothpaste and saliva collecting around the base of the detachable brush head after awhile. It's normal, and if you clean it once a week or twice a month, the brush will continue to work well. That's what I do, anyway.

Mine always gets a mixture of toothpaste and saliva too. I just clean it off when I clean my sink that way it isn't gunky!
