Can you please identify what is wrong with my tree. Above is a picture of the problem. I live in OK, USA if that helps any.

Looks like Slime Flux to me. There is no cure, but it usually does not kill a tree.

I dont know but I am staring the question because I would like to know. I have a tree that is doing something similar and I need to know if I should have it cut down. Have not been able to get any "experts" to agree to come to my house and look. I live in the boonies and unless I can guarantee that if the tree is diseased and I will pay them to cut it down, they wont come look at it.
