I never would have thought I would ever be saying this, but two of our friends recently got gently used dishwashers off of craigslist.com in their areas.

They both got them from people who had high end homes and were remodeling. Our first friends got a high end 2 year old stainless steel energy star dishwasher for $160 and our other friends just found a white Maytag dishwasher that is less than 1 year old for $100 from people that bought a house that had all new appliances put in. Both of the people who sold these wanted to remodel to their own choices.

Both of our friends got dishwashers that originally sold for well over $1000.00.

I encourage you to check out craigslist.com and see if you can find yourself a great deal too. You could buy 3 or 4 high end dishwashers for the money you have to spend. I would try saving some of it for myself or using the rest to get the rest of the matching appliances someone is selling because they want to remodel. Best of luck

I recommend looking at the ads for dishwasher sales, and then going to the library and finding the Consumer Reports magazine issue that deals with dishwashers, to see if the sale brand meets your needs.
