Home building etiquette. So there is a house being built across the street from me. These guys are consistently using my electrical and water outlets outside of my home during the day to do their stuff. Do I complain about this or is it etiquette to let them use the utilities at my expense??? They're fairly rude and messy too, so if you want to weight that with my question feel free!

I've snaked the drain, put drano down the back drain opening. The toilet will flush, but not properly and will run forever unless you manually push down flapper valve. Suggestions? (beyond calling a plumber - my final choice) PS - didn't clean bowl either.

I had recently closed up an outlet by taking the four wires and capping them off. Only to find out the two of the wires were for the ceiling fan power. I have a black and a white wire newer travelers to the ceiling fan, and two old cloth wires which look black. I do have an electrical tester and just want power for the fan, I will cover up the outlet. What wires go where ?

How did one of those red thousand leggers get into my second floor bedroom, this morning? He totally creeped me out, and was just waiting to slither under the bed. He met his fate with a kleenex, and a flush of the toilet. I heard they can get in through the floor boards, and walls? Is that true as well?

I think this would look awesome since it would match the bronze drawer pulls. I have heard that the patina can be toxic. Or is just drinking from copper pipes that is bad? Advice please.

Hi. I tried spraying foam insulation inside aluminum columns that are hollow. They are located on my front porch. Evidently, I oversprayed because 10 minutes later it came out bubbling like a CAULDRON! Not funny! I have the stuff on cement, the outside of my aluminum columns, a wooden planter... good grief!!! WHAT A MESS!!! What can I do to get it cleaned up?
