I'm in the process of growing shallots, for sale to restaurants and possibly grocery stores. How should I go about planting & harvesting so that I have a steady stream of shallots to sell?

My concern is that I'll have a large quantity of shallots to sell all at once, but won't be able to supply them to the restaurants on a continuous basis over time.

Its a small operation I have, but it is in warmer region, so the growing season is pretty long.

I guess the logical choice is to just plant several crops over the year, but I wanted to see if anyone has any advice or suggestions.

Thank you.

I have a small 5,000 BTU in-window a/c. I bought it new last year. It leaked a little last year, but since I have installed it this summer, it seems to be leaking more. Is there anything I can do short of taking it to get repaired?

I've replaced the air filter, the spark plug, and when I found that I wasn't getting a spark, I replaced the armiture. It is my grandparents' lawnmower, and I believe it's been sitting for about 6-8 months.

The thing is that I bought a house that has 3 bathrooms on it, and the bathroom of the master bedroom (mine) has the toilete, bathtub, and sink in burgundy color. The other 2 bathrooms have the toilete and sink in baby pink. The 3 bathrooms have white ceramic floor, and beige walls. How can I redecorate without spending too much money?

Some balsamic vinegar splashed all over my white cotton shirt. I left it on for about 3 hours so I wouldn't make the stains worse before I could get to a washing machine. Before I threw it in the wash, I pre-treated the stains with Shout gel. After washed and dried, I still see faint stains on the shirt. Should I throw it in the wash again and use the pre-treater again as well as some bleach?

I planted yellow and red bell peppers a couple of months ago and I am now harvesting tons of nice healthy fresh green peppers but none of them are turning red or yellow. Any ideas why?

I, like some, hate gardening. However the only reason why i dont like it, is that im not too keen on bees/wasps. If im cutting the grass and a bee is about, i jump or run around like a mad man. How do i overcome this? I know bees dont attack unless provoked but, i know its stupid etc. Help!

I have an old Ryobi Gas Trimmer with the expand it attachments (edger). It is about 7 years old and time to buy a new one. I have been looking at Home Depot and am thinking about buying a new Ryobi Gas trimmer. It has the expand it capability. Do you know if my attachments will work with the newer versions or have the sizes changed? Thanks!

It looks like like the markings of a Lady bug (red with black spots), but it is a fat wormy thing. Yuck. If I know what it is, I may be able to get rid of it.

Thanks
