I planted yellow and red bell peppers a couple of months ago and I am now harvesting tons of nice healthy fresh green peppers but none of them are turning red or yellow. Any ideas why?

Give them a little more time to turn. Most bell peppers start out green and then change. Be patient. Also, remember that you can't always trust store bought plants. If you didn't start them from seed, then it is possible that you bought green bells that have been packaged incorrectly.

I once forgot to pick my green bell peppers and I returned on Monday. My over ripe bell peppers turned red. Maybe you need to leave them on the plant longer.

I thought they all started out green, maybe you are not leaving them on the vine long enough.

they needed more sunlight probably

when you pick them, put them on the windowsill to get sunlight and they will change colour. if they were marked properly on the package. which they probably were.

though they may have been marked at yellow or orange, they may actually be green - in otherwords, bad packaging marking (or seeds).
