My weeping helmlock in my backyard isn't looking good. Its about twenty years old and we have had it for about four months. In the summer its leaves should be green. But there brown and that means to me that my weeping helmlock has a cold. What's wrong with my tree and how do I heal it before its to late. Thank you for your time and patience.

We couldn't figure out which breaker controlled the thermostat, so we took down the power to the entire house. The thermostat seems to be powered, everything else in the house works, but I've turned the AC to 73 and it still won't come on. Any ideas that are easy and safe, or do I need professional help?

I have an odd size back door on my house. The veneer is gone from the bottom to about 2/3rds up. The interior is a wood particle and falls off every time it rains. I've been thinking about putting a new veneer on it or a very thin sheet of metal. What is the best way to repair the door without replacing?

I would like to re paint my bed room, Im thinking a deep blue, something soothing and relaxing, but yet that will fit into my tropical theme, Im kinda going for more of a polynesian theme. I like the Dark browns with the tropical accent. If any one has any suggestions on what color to go with and pictures I could look at that would be great thank you!!! Also suggestions on how to paint like just the walls leave the celing white or accent colors for trim and celing or whatever!!! Thank you

I have created a website that allows you to choose any color and scent combination available for your candles. So instead of always having a yellow or green lemongrass candle - you could have a teal or red lemongrass scented candle! Would you be interested or you think I'm just wasting my time? ..... www.OnceUponAFlame.com ...Thanks!!!

Yesterday I woke up to the bedroom outlets not working. The entire circut is two bed rooms that are side by side. The one room is working fine while the other has no power at all. I replaced the circut breaker for the bed room circut with no help. Next i replaced the 3 outlets in the room, still nothing. The last thing i did was test the outlets and they all seem to be getting power. Thank you for any help anyone can provide on this. I don't know where to check next.

I'm thinking of using one to store some good for a short period of time i.e. 6 months. I notice there are indoor ones, outdoor ones, ones that use old shipping containers, etc. I probably wont need much more than a 10' x 15' x 8'. What should I know about these places, and is there a better/cheaper option. Thanks

Currently I am growing a crop of various types of weeds and a few patches of crunchy, dry grass. I live in Florida, so my soil is very sandy and I am only allowed to water once per week (very heavy afternoon thunderstorms are not uncommon, but we get some pretty serious dry spells, too). Also, I have a jacaranda and a kumquat tree , which not only shade half the yard, leaving the rest to fry in the sun, but they drop all kinds of plant matter all over the yard.

Basically, I am looking for a hardy grass that will withstand sun or shade, will be tolerate either not very much water, or lots of water that drains quickly, and doesn't really mind being dumped on by the trees. Also, the fewer chemicals it requires to thrive, the better. Any suggestions? Does this even exist? If it does, should I plant seeds or buy plugs? I am new to the suburbs, so I have no idea what to do here...help??

My boyfriend is suffering from bachelor syndrome. Everything in his apartment is black, metal, white, plain and boring. He's scared of the idea of introducing color into the place. I'm scared of the idea of living in an all black & white home--it feels too much like a museum!

We're moving in together next month; what's the best way to compromise on the color scheme and decorating? The last thing I want is to be overbearing, but I'd like to introduce some color somewhere so I don't feel like I'm living in a bachelor pad/college dorm.
