There are several repeat blooming climbing roses. Here is a couple of my favorite websites where they give you complete details regarding their roses.
http://www.davidaustinroses.com/english/
and
http://www.heirloomroses.com/index.htm
Check out the climbers at these sites and they will give you some idea of what to get.
They will tell you if it is a repeat bloomer.
I just bought this climbing rose. It is an abundant bloomer all season long...check it out:

Your modern climbing roses are repeat bloomers. They are not in constant bloom but recycle every 40 days or so. I like Don Juan too, also Climbing Blaze and Golden Shower and.... well, just about all of them.

There's a special climber called a Climbing Hybrid Tea. These are the same roses in Hybrid Tea group but sometimes a variety will develop a wild hair, so to speak, and send out extra long canes. These are then marketed as Climbing Hyrbrid Teas. They don't have the cluster blooms like traditional climbers, but rather a single to 3 blooms at the tips of each LONG stem. If you like long stemmed blooms for indoors, these are good to have on hand!

The older rambler climbing roses tend to be single bloomers, so beware. Going to the Jackson and Perkings catalog on line will give you several good choices.

Read the descritptions carefully least you get a rambler or some other old fashion that blooms once......that is for about 4 weeks only.

Most roses don't bloom in the spring. Maybe late spring. The one I like the best is called Knockout. Very disease resistant. Starts blooming late spring early summer and blooms till frost. This is a shrub rose. Ours are 4 years old now and get 3 1/2 ft to 4ft tall every season after heavy pruning. People are always asking us what they are.

It would be rare to find a climbing rose that blooms for long periods of time. Most climbers bloom once a season in one big flush of flowers then no more that year.

try the Don Juan dark red blooms year round till frost, it is also pretty disease resistant pair it with clematis that is absolutely showstopping in the spring!!! What you can also try are Old English roses I love them Jackson and Perkins have some great deals sometimes and great guarantee! But for Old E.s try David Austin directly The Old E.s are wonderful grow fast and are very disease resistant!
