My Samsung air conditioner is not heating. Stopped working after a power failure.?

My Samsung split system air conditioner suddenly stopped heating after a power failure. It still cools etc. I have tried everything suggested in the manual. Any ideas or do I have to get a technician out.

if it's a newer unit the circuit board is probably bad, they cost around $100

If you have tried everything in the manual as far as trouble- shooting, then its time to call the AC man.

better have a professional come and check it out something isn't right
