Well this has been about a 2-3 week process so far. I vacuum but it stirs some of it up and I can never get it all. I'm beginning to think the filter is spitting some back to the pool. I took apart my DE filter at the start of the year so it should be clean still. Am I not putting enough DE powder in? I have 3 kids that swim all the time and I feel bad for not being able to keep the pool as clean as it should be. Need Help!

We live in town, so shooting them is not an option. These darn rabbits are eating my shrubs, taking a bite of every strawberry on my plants, and just being a general nuisance. I am not averse to actually killing them, but I just can't shoot them in town. Is there a poison or deterrent that works?

I have noticed there is a lot of lint built up in my dryer. I clean the filter every time I use the dryer but I can still see some lint down inside the trap. Is it safe to use a vacuum to clean it out? Or is there another way to get it all out? Thanks in advance for your help.

Since i'm only 13 I obviously caan't drive to the store to get a stain remover. If you have any tricks using stuff around the house that'd be great! Thanks!!!!!

I find it really disturbing to see my kitchen cupboards not as neat as they should be and feel guilty I have skipped my task as a decent house wife. My husband keeps pointing this out to me as well. Just last week I have broken my leg and can't walk for several weeks. How can I catch up with spring cleaning? My husband has stated not to pay me any pocket money until the job is done to his satisfaction.

Me and my GF have noticed tiny bugs on our window ledges i have looked online but cannot identify them.

Smaller than an average ant, with even smaller almost invisible baby ones.

6 legs, 2 antenee, and jump when touched or blown, very fragile looking too.

I know they are not fleas as i have seen these close hand, they almost look like very small woodlouse!

Anyone have any ideas or websites where i could identify them?

Cheers

Someone told me that you have to turn it off because it will cause a gas leak. I was just asking about this because last night when it was raining it seemed like some water was dripping into the vent by the heater. I don't know if I should turn it off and then have the gas company come light it up when winter comes back around.

A hypothetical situation, which I`ve seen in other countries.
If you were to become totally self sufficient in water i.e. collecting your own water and a septic tank for waste would the water company still come after you for charges? I think the only angle they would have is drainage. I do appreciate that you would require a descent plot of land. With regards to emptying the septic tank there are plenty of private firms.

I am trying so hard to keep my bills down. Would it save much energy if I turned my A/C down to about 74 or 76 and then had my ceiling fan on high in the living room and a circulating fan upstairs? (I live in a smaller townhouse). Or is that defeating the purpose?

We have a 10 ft drainage / utility easement that runs the length of our back fence. My husband would like a build a retaining wall at 8 ft to bring the rest of the yard level. Are we allowed to build that type of structure in an easement?

There are retaining walls installed by the builder that run along both sides of the property and into the easement.
