I find it really disturbing to see my kitchen cupboards not as neat as they should be and feel guilty I have skipped my task as a decent house wife. My husband keeps pointing this out to me as well. Just last week I have broken my leg and can't walk for several weeks. How can I catch up with spring cleaning? My husband has stated not to pay me any pocket money until the job is done to his satisfaction.

Well, if a man's home is his castle then let him clean it and show you what "his satisfaction" really is.... I'm a SAHM and sometimes I can get the house in tip top shape and other days I'm playing with the kids and I slack.. I don't get paid either... If you want to catch up on your spring cleaning that's fine make yourself a to do list for each room and get a little bit accomplished at a time... Do the work because it needs to be done and you'll feel good when it's done and not because of your husband he's an ***

Sorry to hear that domestic slavery still exists. Has he completed all of his tasks? It really sounds like the two of you need some counseling. My wife and I have reversed roles. She likes doing work on the vehicles and I do all the cooking. There is no "pay" for any of the jobs done.

Piss on him, if he wants it done, he can do it himself. If it bothers him that bad, he will do it. I think men should share in the housework too, after all they live in the house too.(And its not like they are so neat peoples either...lol). Its not gonna kill a man to clean once in a while. You need to take time to heal for your leg. And then you can get back to your regular routine.

OMG.
Get out of that house and move in with a friend or family.
Start saving for a huge dirty divorce.

Stop being a doormat.

When you married your husband you promised to "love honour and obey" seems to me you need to pay a bit more attention to the obeying part.
