Well this has been about a 2-3 week process so far. I vacuum but it stirs some of it up and I can never get it all. I'm beginning to think the filter is spitting some back to the pool. I took apart my DE filter at the start of the year so it should be clean still. Am I not putting enough DE powder in? I have 3 kids that swim all the time and I feel bad for not being able to keep the pool as clean as it should be. Need Help!

Your pool must be old like mine. I noticed the sand granules on the bottom about a year ago. The pool is 12 years old. I think it is just deteriorating. My pool cleaner seems to be keeping it under control.

Could be you have a small hole or slit in the liner at the bottom, so it continually filters in
