When running, if I replace the filter, then engine oil &/or gas drips out of the filter. WHAT IS GOING ON? My tiller was running fine last fall when I put it up.

I'd like to spray-paint a piece of furniture, but I've had problems in the past with painting. I tried painting an end table once, and also some shelves, and both times the paint dried sort of sticky. Even months after it was painted it was still sticky. I'm not sure if it's because I live in a humid area (Houston) or if I'm just using cheap paint. But does anyone know how to avoid the sticky feel after painting?

All through the years, I've collected heaps and heaps and HEAPS of books. Many were bought/given since I was 6 years old. More came along during schooling years and with every new interest formed.

They are like piles of messy pillars. I have no more space and I want a new life. I know I should get rid of them.

I could bring those from the later part of my life to 2nd hand bookstore (Gosh, I wonder how I am going to transport the load?!) or the Salvation Army?!

There are these lots of old, a-quarter-century old children's book which still hold sentimental value to my heart. I doubt people would want them, they've become so old and yellow, unsophisticated in these times. Throwing them away would mean having to treat them as discarded junks. I don't think I'm able to give them away. Children want new things, fanciful things.

HELP ME! SHARE IDEAS OF WHAT I SHOULD DO! CONVINCE ME THAT DISPOSING THEM IS A RIGHT SOLUTION! Please.

Hi, I planted 2 beds of New Wave Petunias this spring. They are new beds, this is the first year to have New Wave Petunias in them. They are flower beds next to each other in front of our sunroom but have a space in between where a rose bush is planted.
The problem is the petunias were planted at the same time, one side is lush and growing beautifully. The plants on the other side have all wilted and died one at a time, we've replaced them on the bad side, but I noticed one of the new ones look wilted and dying now. I watered both the same, we haven't had a lot of rain, I'm in south GA. hour south of Atlanta. I've never seen anything like this before and have planted number of things in this area over the last 15 yrs we have lived here,
Does anyone know anything I can try to do? Thanks, Debbie

I tried removing the whole faded flowers by yanking it off from the stem. The stem and the root is still intact but without the top part (flower). Is that the right way to encourage blooming?

I use self-propelled mower. It cuts the grass into tiny pieces that fall back to the yard and decompose quickly, letting the nutruition back to the yard and redcue the needs for fertilizer.

Push (reel) mower is environmental friendly becasue it doesn't produce air and noise pollution. However, it doesn't cut the grass to pieces like the gas lawn-mower. Will it cause thatch problem if the grass left in the lawn?

I used to use diazinon around the perimeter of the house but it is no longer available. Other granular pesticides are not working nearly as well. I can take a shovel and turn over the dirt in any area around the house and it explodes with ants.

Typically the line will prime in 8-10 seconds, but lately it hasn't been able to fully prime and build adequate pressure. What might have gone wrong? I have thoroughly cleaned the machine and tried running warm water throught it so far.
