ok so im home alone and about 1 hour ago i made pizza. I turned my oven off and acorrding to the screen it says its off. I dont want to call my mom because she doesn't want me to use the oven so im calling last. Its still very hot and it feels like its still on HELP!!!

It's probably off. Try listenting to your mother. She has reason for her rules.

If the screen says off, then it more than likely is. The heat is just being retained inside the oven. Open the oven door and the heat will dissipate more quickly.

If if is an electric stove, turn the power source if you can't unplug it. If it's gas, turn the electric ignition source and the gas off. There must be a reason your mom told you not to use it. If it can be repaired, fine, if not, it should be replaced. Also keep the fire department/police phone number handy. Notify someone asap if it continues to emit heat. Be very careful and good luck.

look inside, see if it is on.... ovens normally take a good couple hours to cool down. if you see nothing inside leave it very slightly open to see if any heat comes out after a while, if needed go to a neighbor and ask for help.

stay cool it'll cool down its just not that fast it takes my oven sooo long to cool off and it makes a weird buzzy noise so dont worry!!!!

it takes ages to cool open the door and it will cool faster
