So we have this Bissel Pro Heat carpet cleaner? It doesn't say in the manual how long it will take for the carpets to dry, about how long would you estimate???? For a room about 12x12 feet...

It also depends on how you clean it. The nozzle shoots water into your carpet then the vacuum sucks it back up again. If you move quickly, the water won't penetrate as deeply, if you move very slowly, the water will go down deeper and won't come up as well.

Our carpets are fine after a deep cleaning in 24 hours.

I have the same steam cleaner. It depends upon the ventilation and if you have a cross ventilation. If you use a wet/dry vacuum to suck up any moisure, it will dry faster. It depends upon the temerature, and also how much water you released into the carpet. remove as much water first, open the doors and windows for a cross ventilation and place a large fan on the floor and let the fan elp to dry it. It will probably tak at least 12 hours It will also depend up the pile.

I don't see why not. I always use different brands for my machine. I have dogs and the pet cleaning solution that Bissel makes simply doesn't cut it. Instead, I use Nature's Miracle, an entirely different brand. I've never had a problem with it.

I always use a fan or two and it's usually dry after using in the morning, by that evening.
