OK, I just realized that a starter would be to mention I shouldn't be "playing" on the yahoo answers website, but I really am doing laundry while I'm doing this, so please be kind.

Have a friend from California come out so that you can use and abuse him and make him do stuff against his will, but secretly he doesn't mind cause he's helping out his friends whom he cares a lot about. Then force him to go back to California.

THERE IS NO EASY WAY.......IT'S DIFFICULT......I HAVE A 7 YR OLD AND A 3 YR OLD AND IT'S HARD KEEPING THE PLACE CLEAN FROM DAY TO DAY...........HERE ARE MY SUGGESTIONS:
1. DO A LITTLE EACH DAY.......DONT LET A DAY GO BY WHERE YOU DONT DO ANYTHING BECUZ THIS IS WHEN THINGS GET OUT OF CONTROL.

2. IF YOU HAVE A BOYFRIEND/HUSBAND/OLDER CHILD, HAVE HIM/HER DO CERTAIN THINGS SUCH AS TAKING OUT THE TRASH, WATERING PLANTS, HELPING WITH LAUNDRY.

3. IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT, YOU CAN HIRE A MAID TO COME IN ONCE A WEEK TO DO SOME CLEANING FOR YOU.

4. MAKE A CHART OF ALL THE TASKS YOU DO AND ASSIGN EACH TASK TO A DAY OF THE WEEK.

HOPE THIS HELPS...SORRY FOR YELLING (MY CAPS LOCK IS BROKE)

Check out the "Fly Lady." She advocates doing things in 15 minute chunks of time. They have loads of helpful hints and you can get a daily email from them giving you a task for the day if you want.

Allow me to give my kudos to all of you - Moms!

I'm just looking after myself and I .... AHHHH feel defeated, BUT I WILL KEEP TRYING!

But in school, a few of the experienced teachers who have taught for years (that also mean that they are such Veterans), they constantly remind me being a very young teacher, "FIND ORDER ADMIDST CHAOS". This saying has started shifting my mindset in school, that is for being in an environment with so much external influence.

I guess it is the same for you all at home with kids, housework and some even juggling with jobs.

I look at my own mom. It's just easier as an outsider to see that she needs to relax and take it easy over nitty gritty, but it is better for me to keep my mouth shut as I will always appear being not understanding.

As a young teacher, again, in the long run, kids have to do their own stuff. Leaving them to handle chores can be frustrating ... perhaps for the time being, but definitely worthwhile for them and you in the long run : )

Once more, you all are MANIFICENT SUPER WOMEN!

I have two kiddos and stay at home, I totally know the feeling of overwhelmed!
check out flylady.org ( it might be com, but I think it is org.) you will get totally realistic advice and ways to schedule your tasks without being a slave to your house and still have time to raise your kiddos. they are all about babysteps...after all, we don't make our houses messy in a day, we certainly can't clean it all in a day either.
