Ok so my propane guy told me I have a leak. My tank is empty so there is no pressure and no smell. We dug up the line to the house no holes or any inclination that it has leaked through that pipe. we think it is at the tank but the propane guy told us it was not! How do I go about finding this leak, remember there is no propane in the tank so there is no pressure! HELP!

The area is normally dry to damp but when it rains, it floods the small area under the awning; the area does not stay flooded for long but it would probably drown regular plants. My wheelchair tires get stuck and covered in mud or whatever when I attempt to water when it is dry. Can you please suggest Floral plants for that area? If not floral, nonfloral is ok, but no bushes. We are limited to what we can do at our apartment.
Can you please give suggestions?

I have to change the lower element in my 50 gal. electric water heater, however when I try to drain it through the drain valve nothing comes out. I've tried opening the nearest hot water faucet to help & nothing, a trickle at best, any suggestions?

everyday for a set time. Is there a timer available that I can install that will run the pump only on certain days? My pool gets very little use and there is no need to run the pump everyday. If I could run it every-other-day, that would work and conserve energy.

I have an old dresser, it's made of solid wood, the finish on it is not a stain, and it's not paint, it's like some type of laminate. Can I paint over that, I don't think I could sand it off.

We are moving into a house with central air and want to be as efficient and economical as possible with the air. I am not sure if we should turn it down when not at home or all the way off.

I know this is a major money maker for retailers, which makes me wonder if it's worth it. The fabric is microfiber, which is naturally easy to clean.

emptying the Dyson after every sweep over my apartment carpet, upholstery, rugs, and mattress. The only problem I have seen is that most research I have done has said that after vaccuuming, throw out the vaccuum bag immediately (and seal it in a plastic bag first) but the Dyson doesnt have bags. So I sprinkled a little borax on the carpet and vaccuumed again, to kill any fleas that I sucked up in the canister, and then dumped the canister out immediately afterwards in the garbage across the street. Has anyone else with a Dyson had a flea problem? How did you get rid of it? Am I doing the right thing? Please let me know. Thank you!

The gnats in my kitchen are driving me crazy. I keep the kitchen spotless and all fruit is kept in the fridge. I've tried bleach, pinesol, and other household cleaners/chemicals. Sometimes they'll go away for a night, but are back by the next morning. Any advice would help.

I will be cleaning out a very large storage locker filled with everything old and useless, like old mattresses, chairs, tables...etc etc etc. We plan on renting a U-Haul truck, loading it up...and then...what? We need to find a local public dump that allows folks to dump off old items and anything considered trash... a regular dumpster couldn't even begin to hold up the incredible amount of stuff we need to get rid of, plus that is probably against some kind of law to leave mattresses and tables, and large things of trash all around a public dumpster.... So we need a public dump.... any clue in the world how to go out about finding this? Call city management perhaps?
