my big beef tomato plant in a huge pot on my balcony is getting taller and WAS getting flowers but some of the flowers wilted but the leaves look green and strong, but the base of the plant the leaves are yellowish green while the new leaves on the base of the plant are nice and green. The top of the plant looks "bored" or not happy but i think strong. I've checked to see if i'm watering too much so i held back and spritz the plant. Whats wrong with her?????

What does this mean? For example today 2 hours ago we set the A/C to 75 and it still shows 80. Could it be that it takes much longer to cool since it was 85 degrees and muggy today in milwaukee, wi?

ok i'm a early 20's male and i've been doing my laundry since i moved out at 19. anyways...does it really matter what detergent you use? I mean tide is like over 7 dollars for like a 32 load and then there's purex which is 2.50 for the same amount of loads. So is there a big difference? should i stay away from the ones with bleach in them? does the bleach wear out the clothes faster? i'm kinda lost on which kind to buy thx

It also said a waterbed or aquarium could not go up there either. It's not structurally sound to do so...any ideas on this one? Does this mean the house is of poor quality construction, or is this normal?

We're looking at buying a home, but it has an electric range instead of a gas range. I HATE using electric and want to look into the cost of converting the kitchen to support my gas range. I have a gourmet range that is amazing. The owners are planning on replacing the refrigerator as well as the "classic" range for an updated range and hood. I was hoping to ask them to exclude the new refrigerator and range (we have both ourselves) in exchange for plumbing for a gas line.

My landlord warned us that our well was so small it probably cant even fill one of those large swimming pools and today I was doing laundry and I washed my minivan than washed half my husbands small truck and it appeared that the well had run out of water. I was on my third loud of laundry and the hose lost water pressure and started spurting between a drizzle and water with no pressure. I walked to the pump house and the pump was making a grumbling sound alot louder than when it normally pumps. When I went in the house the washmachine was also sputering water. The water was not used for about an hour and when The toilet was flushed it also sputered. So is our well out of water and if it is how will it fill back up
? Do I have to wait for it to rain cuz its been pretty dry here? Thankyou so much for your help

I also want a faucet finish that is easy to clean and keep clean. Can anybody recommend anything? Thanks for the help!

I pulled up old outdoor carpet (you know, the green stuff). Well, there is adhesive stuck to the concrete. Since it would take me way to long to scrape all of that off, I was thinking about covering it with pebbles. I was thinking that if I bought a good adhesive, like a carpet adhesive, and spread that on the concrete, I could spread the pebbles on the patio.

If anyone has experience or educated thoughts on this, please reply with your thoughts.

Thanks!

My sprinkler timer box gave me an error mesage that said I had a faulty solenoid valve on station #2. So I replaced the valve with a new solenoid, but when I turn the water on the station comes on and will not turn off. The only way to stop the station with the replaced valve from running is to turn off the water. Does any one know what would cause this problem and how I can correct it?

do i need to get a lawyer?
what are the advantages?
what are the disadvantages?
is it worth it even if the house needs some work?
the power source is one of the older breaker boxes will this pose as a problem to get power turned on?
the house is for $25K and about an acre of land, it doesnt need any immediate repairs besides a few patches to some pin holes in the metal roof, the payments would be $300/month. is this considered a good investment?

I want to make sure there are no more problems with the situation but I have no idea how or where to look to find out what size tank or if there are features I need to look for. I already know our area reguires a 250 ft field line but have no information on type or style, price range etc... of the tank itself.

I like to cut it close, with the blade lowered as much as possible. Would raising the blade and keeping the grass a few inches higher be healthier for it? Does it even matter? Whats the best way to keep it green?

My grandmother passed away. She lived on her own and as we were cleaning out her apartment, discovered that her washer broke, and she never told anyone.

The inside is full of old, stagnant water with a terrible odor...I don't know how long it's been sitting there but probably a few months.

How do we get this out? The machine is too heavy to lift and pour into something. No repair man will touch it until the water is removed.

Any serious suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you.
