Standard Craftsman push mower runs for about a minute, then sputters to a stop. I accidentally left gas in it all winter long. I mowed with that gas and it worked fine. Then it ran out of gas, and after I put more in, this problem started. Also afterwards, it won't start again until at least 10 minutes later. I changed the oil & put in fresh gasoline, that didn't fix it. Any suggestions?

Just replaced a garbage disposal. The old one was from the 70's. Now every time my daughter does dishes, she says she gets shocked by the tap water. Never had this problem with the old disposal. Everything was rewired exactly the same, white to white, black to black, ground to the screw provided. All was wire nutted and taped secure. I pulled it apart and re-did it and the problem was still there. Ive changed disposals in the past, so i feel confident in the work, but obviously there is a grounding issue here. Disconnected for now....Any suggestions?

It started out fine this spring. Then the leaves started turning yellow with black spots, so the local nursery told me to spray a fungiside on it. The leaves are still doing that, plus there are hardly any left. There are three new shoots coming from the top, but the stems are to small to support the blooms. Should I cut it back, and let it start from closer to the base?

It's either that or scaffolding.

Scaffolding: $100 per day.

Scissor Lift $180 per day.

I think the indoor scissor lift would be better for it's maneuverability, but getting it inside could be difficult. The door is wide enough but it has to go over 2 wide steps to get inside and then drop down 1ft. to get to the area to be painted. If the lift isn't too heavy maybe it can be pushed down a couple of 2x12's.

Are the wheels on these things motorized? Can they be driven up and down a couple of steps?

Are these things so heavy that they risk damaging a tiled floor?

My husband mows the lawn but there are patches in the lawn now and then that I'd like to get rid of. Is it the product, how he mows, the lawn mower, or the grass?

Help! My house plants have got Scale Insect. I really don't want to throw them out and have treated them once with a spray that then works systemically. I can still see them though - all around the bottom om one of the plants. Does this mean they are dying and falling off. They are horrible!
Can anybody recommend me a different product - and how to use it best. I want them gone. Some of these plants I have had ages and I don't want them to die - please help!

My backyard is about 50 feet by 25 feet. I wanted to rip up all the grass and weeds...mostly weeds, level out the dirt because my backyard is not close to flat, and plant some very attractive flowers and new grass, but I am wondering whether I should shovel out all the dirt by hand or buy/rent some sort of machine that could do that. Could anyone recommend a particular machine to help me remove all of the grass/weeds in my backyard because doing it by hand is going to take A LOT of time. Thanks.

where can i get one of these? the one currently installed in my house to work with the hot water tank only (heating is electric not gas), has only been used for about 3 months is malfunctioning. It's tripping the fuse and causes other electrical items to cut off. At the moment there is no hot water as the water tank I think needs this timer to function. Came preinstalled in the property. It's apparently meant for a fully pumped system but I have no idea what one of these is. The water tank is the big old style tank in a cupboard.

My son works on a farm and I am driving his car to save $ on gas.
The problem is that it is a Camry with leather seats. I washed the floor mats with laundry detergent, used Murphy's oil soap on the seats, used air neutralizer, car air freshners..
Any more ideas I can try???

I have some small flowers growing indoors and while I was taking care of them today, I noticed a tiny red bug on one of the leaves. I was wondering, is this bug harmful to my flowers or should I leave it there? Also, my flowers shouldn't have bugs since they're indoor flowers...
