If you want a strong germ killer, bleach is for you. In a hospital setting, only bleach is used to clean up blood. Bleach is protocol to clean the blood to help prevent the spread of HIV. I am sure that you know to use it in a well ventilated area and not to mix it with any other cleaner. Also, protect your fabric. Remember, if it is used in a hospital as the strongest germ killer, you can't beat the bleach.

Lysol basin tub and tile cleaner. It will even get paint spots of the floor or what ever else. I use it in my kitchen, bathroom, on doors. In the kitchen I give it a good couple of rinses after use as I don't think it is probably food safe. Also grease cutter is a good product. For carpets go to home depot buy a couple of jugs of FOLEX carpet cleaner and get a carpet cleaner. Your carpet will look fantastic. For really bad spots hit is with the straight folex first. I use about a cup per each batch of water. Bleach kills germs but is very toxic and bad for the environment and your lungs. If you go the bleach route make sure you have lots of ventilation and DO NOT mix it with anything else. The fumes can kill you. Another thing~ never apply a carpet freshener (powdered stuff ) and spray frebreeze...the combination is toxic. I have a friends husband end up in the hospital...his wife sprinkled carpet fresher and then shot the frebreeze around while he was taking a nap. She went to another part of the house and came back to find her husband barely able to breath. He spent a few days in the hospital. Happy, healthy cleaning...and once it's done enjoy your new home.

Anywhere that you have a hard surface, I would use bleach water or bleach wipes (or ammonia is good, too). But be careful not to use this on anything you can take the color out of. The carpets are a problem; all you can do is scrub them. Ask the landlord if he already did, though . . some states require it between renters. You could use Febreeze on any fabrics. Good luck!
