I live on the 6th floor in an apartment bulding located on a main street. I like to keep the apartment well-ventilated so I keep the windows open but the problem is that it gets so dusty in a really short time. What can I do to prevent or lessen the accumulating dust?

I have a Maytag dishwasher. We do not have a water softner, which is next on our "to do list". My dishwasher will only spray out a little but of water. I think I have a lot of lime build up in the pipes. How do I get that out without calling a professional. Thanks.

I have learned two ways to prepare a garden.

Which do you think will provide the better yield?

1.) Using a shovel to lift one clump of dirt at a time, removing all the unwanted roots by crushing the soil so it is loose, and then dropping the soil back down?

2.) Rototill the soil; adding root poison and fertilizer additives?

I have an Ortho hose end sprayer, Dial n Spray. I bought Miraclo-Gro water soluble plant food packets. The Ortho sprayer jar says fill 1/4 to 1/2 full (8 to 16 oz). The Miraclo-Gro packet says use the whole packet, 32 oz? Can I use Miracle-Gro in my Ortho sprayer and how much do I mix, dilute? I am just trying to fertalize some flowering shrubs.

It is one of those 300 dollar pools from canadian tire. You fill the ring with air then start filling. I was wondering if you could buy some type of heater for it as I have an infant that I want to take in it this summer. Thanks

I live in Arizona and I do not have any bee problems around the plants, but they're a constant problem around the rock waterfall we had built. They're always around and once the waterfall is turned on, even more come out.

Hi,

I am looking for a privacy hedge to go in the front yard that gets a lot of sun. I will be taking care of them myself so something that doesn't need very much care, occasional watering and feeding is fine. Am thinking arbrovitea or privet hedge although not sure if there is a lot of work with privet hedge.

Thank you!

my friend bought this glass top electric range used and it seems to be, beyond cleaning it any other way. It had not been taken care of and it had burnt foods on it. Any thing anyone can help with will truly be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
