How do get rust off of tools? How do you prevent tools from rusting after they've been getting wet for 3 days? How long does it take before they start to rust? Boyfriend will be home by 10:00 tonight!

Is bubble wrap more effective when the bubble is face on to the fragile item or facing away.
Usually pop the stuff. but would like an oppinion as am wrapping fragile ornaments.

my showerhead was having low flow problems and so I pulled the tab out and pushed it back to the shower position and now the shower doesn't work. I know the pipes are not frozen but besides that I don't know what I am looking for

As a builder, do you place treated wood under the bottom of basement stair stringers? or not? Most homes I see run the stringers right down to the floor. Is this really an issue?

I can only get one really good shower out of my hot water heater before it starts to cool off. I have the temperature turned all the way up. Is the hot water heater going bad or could the extreme cold have anything to do with it? The water heater is in the basement.
