Be careful, if it is the type of mailbox that I think it is. It is the property of the U.S. Post Office. Call them up and they will have a master key. Breaking into a mailbox, even your own, is a Federal offense!!!

use a 5 inch angle grinder. Your local mechanic will own one either that or a portable petrol disc cutter have it open in seconds. You will need a new one afterwards though. LOL
