i have damp on the wall in my bedroom it a flat i am renting it from the Housing Assationan.

Any help what to do

Send them a letter and give them a deadline for sorting it. I had the same problem. apart from that we had it in every room and even on the kitchen floor. Told them on the phone 6 times and then send 3 letters. took them 3 month! If they don't sort it till the deadline you give them ask them to make your rent cheaper. we paid £120 per month less.

is there furniture shoved up against the wall blocking ventilation - seen this happen before in a house share. Your HA should be called to have an expert check it out just in case.

Is it rising damp or penetrating damp?

If it is rising then an electro osmosis damp proof course will sort it out-

I'd get onto the housing first and complain to them!

Have you spoke to the housing association about it? they should deal with it.

i would speak to the citizens' advice bureau.

some nasty landlords have cunning ways to kick out their residents.

c.a.b. would be powerful support.
