I’ve got the coolest Fossil Brand watch in the world. I got it for Christmas about 3 years ago. Problem is it’s gotten kind of dirty; sweat, dust, and dirt have become encrusted in between the metal links and in the latch holding it band together making it hard to take off. Kind of gross, yeah, but you can’t see it unless you’re examining the links very carefully. Anyway, I wanted to know what the best way to clean a metal watch is. (I know brand name doesn’t make a difference, but I like to gloat about what few brand name items I have)

i have used the roach gel, boric acid, and roach-b-gone traps that are expensive after a while. Any home remedies that will get rid of them. You can't lay anything done without roaches crawling on it. They even get in our bed.....HELP!!!!!

At first, it just stopped working unless the button used to push it "on" was continually pressed. Then, the heat stopped working, too. It is only 2 1/2 years old, a gas Kenmore.

I have a portable wood cart that has two doors on the top that open, inside has a wood tray with several holes. On each side of cart is a drop leaf and on each end is a door that opens. Both ends have a wood railed handle. Have pics to send if needed.

I installed a Regent 500 W floodlight. I wired off of the back porch light which is a small 75 watt fixture. I have a 20 amp breaker, the current is obviously 120v which is the recommended. This is the second fixture I have replaced(same brand and light). The problem is, I am replacing the 5,000 hour bulbs after about 15 hours. The bukb isn't actually blown, the wire is still connected from end to end in the bulb. What happens is, the bulb and the connection point look as if they caught fire. They are "smut" black. So, basicaly it doesn't blow the bulb it just fries the connection point making it impossible for current to pass through. Its only doing it on one side, the bulb is a double-ended 500w halogen bulb. Does anyone know why this maybe happening? I followed directions step by step and had a very experienced person help with the installation.

I just installed the highest-grade armstrong flooring, but it's very light in color and scuffs very easily (it's in the bathroom). How do I safely remove the scuffs without scratching the floor permanently? Also, any product or floor treatment that will make it "scuff free?"

I have the smaller tear-drop shaped bulbs in the light fixture over my dining room table and it seems as if I am replacing the bulbs in it every few weeks. Now that I think of it, it also seems to be the same 3 bulbs that keep needing to be replaced not all 5 bulbs.

I am looking to replace my boiler (I have steam heat) in a house that I purchased last year. I know that Weil Mclean is one of the better brands. I got an estimate to have this boiler installed and when I asked about other brands, the heating specialist told me that the cost difference was so little for the efficiency that I wanted that it would not even matter.

The pricing was appropriate, but is there really minimal differences in cost between the various brands? What are the more reliable brands anyways?

My tap does not appear to physically rotate to the off position but the water slowly decreases until it stops. Seems to only do this with the hot water tap in my sink.

I have a Kenmore that goes fills up but no longer "agitates". Also if I turn the dial to the rinse cycle it doesn't drain or spin. The only thing it seems to do is fill with water when I put it on the wash cycle. Any DIY advise before I break down and buy a new one I can't afford!

My house is rather plain and for Christmas...I would like to paint it before our guests arrive. Right now....its plain ol white everywhere! I want something that would feel glamourous and nightlife like if u know what I mean....

Something that a lot of people would like or should I just leave it white and re-do the paint?

We have gotten rid of the male cat, but the scent he sprayed continues to linger in the carpet. We have shampood twice, using the chemical the rental place suggested. Powders and odor eliminating sprays are useless. I've just bought new furniture and it is a shame to put it into a room that smells like cat pee. HELP!

We have a Heating/Air Conditioning Heat Pump Condenser (located outside of the home on concrete pad) that becomes covered in frost during cold temperatures. Didn't do this before last year.

What is causing this?
Should I be concerned?
If this is a problem, how can I fix it myself?

Advice please.
Thanks.
