overstock.com is great for high quality linens at great prices. I got 500 thread counts for $40 last year ( I know that is still a lot for sheets, but not 500 thread count). Another great place price wise and quality is ikea, I was floored by how inexpensive our guest room linens were and how soft the sheets are. link below for ikea's textiles.
My thought on sheets is it is worth it to spend the money to get better sheets!

Try Target. They are usually a little better quality product with decent prices. Or try on the web at Domestications.com Good Luck

I like Target and JCPenney for their sheets and bedding. Also look at places like Marshalls and TJMaxx for name brand sheets at affordable prices. One of my favorite things to do when I am thinking of updating my bedroom set is to go on line and browse around for color selections and prices.

If there is a Pleg's around where you live they are pretty good. Or if you have a textile mill that is in your area they have really good deals. Outside of that maybe the Target.
